Well...... after nearly 8 months of patient waiting some of my new parts arrived !

I recieved a 6 pack ceramic clutch with Sachs HD pressure plate and my new 8V T3 turbo manifold

Finally I will be able to get some work done on my car.

First thing is first.... I have to take it over and get an inspection done so I can register it in Alberta..... then the mods will start :)

Here are some pics....

This is my new turbo manifold after 2 very long hours of blending walls, removing large ridges and casting defects....

This is a picture of the manifold with my T3/T04E hybrid turbo and external waste gate

1. Why do YOU get to be a sticky in the general section?

2. Nice

3. Where are your parts that were designed and made by me that we haven't discussed at all but I'll end up making cause I really need stuff to do and I know you want some "Made In the USA" stuff on your car or better yet "Audacity Motorsports" or even "Audacity Racing" labeled parts that I will end up designing at the least and runnign things like FEA and CFD on because you want the best possible performance while maintaining your not-so-shoestring budget

1) That was an accident... I moved it
2) Got some other nice goodies on a different camera (these ones were taken with my phone)
3) Are you talking about the mounts? If so... PM me... if not... I'm not sure what your talking about.... is your shop setup allready?

Underdrive pullies.... well.... the 8V I bought off Tom after he blew his 8V C20GET

The 16V.... that was free..... I financed the machining costs for 360 Dynamics.... so as a result I got one free pully ( instead of paying interest )

They are small jets that are press fit into the oil supply.... when the oil pressure goes over 40psi it starts shooting a stream of oil out of the end.

Basicly.... the oil jets are positioned such that they spray oil on the back side of the piston... which cools the pistons (and transfers the heat to the oil)

They are used on many high performance turbo engines.... our engines don't come will them stock... but there are several sites (such as Migweb) where there are links to "how to install oil jets" into the 2.0L block.

The process requires someone very experienced to do the modifications.... it's definitly not something your every day joe should attmept to try.

I still have a set of X20XEV forged pistons, two sets of race piston pins, another clutch and pressure plate on it's way.... the original shipment was split up and Tom's custom turbo race manifold and my pistons delayed the second package.

The main thing was getting the 8V manifold.... I'm not in a real big hurry for the rest of it.
