-Then the SUV really suite your needs...

I don't think that an inch would heart it's absorbing power, while on the other hand it would look much nicer...

I have lowered mine over 2 inches, and it's still very drivable...

Yes. But lowering doesn't lower rear more than a half of a inch... And I have cut out plastics in the way of the rubber.

mine rubs on a little metal tab right on the edge of the guard... i should just chop it.

i'm seriously considering an engine swap... i've been looking for c20xe engines but the cheapest im finding are c20ne's and x20xev's

any advice mr g?

c20ne 2.0 8v 115HP, is fine if you would put the stand alone like VEMS and turbocharger (15psi stock, over 250HP)... Otherwise it is too weak..

X20XEV is fine new engine, 2.0 16V ecotec, but it's only 136HP... Better it would be Z20LET..

C20XE is and old, good engine, 2.0 16V 150HP, goes on lanos gearbox, it's P'N'P...

yeah i really want a c20xe :( might have to save up for a couple more years

so to drop a c20xe in would i have to make custom front engine mount? also i'm guessing i would need all the sensors, wiring loom and computer from the donor car?

i'm excited about the thought of having that engine in my car hahaha

all of the opel 2.0 engines will bolt up the same as a c20xe would. yeah you would need the front mount from a 2.0 lemans, adn you would need the entire engine managment system from mthe eonor car (sensors, ecy, wire harnes to mank connctions easier)

you could also turbo your 1.6 or one of those the c20ne's, but you would "need" a standalone, you cold just use a piggy back and still gave a nice machine

yeah thats what i thought, thanks mofo

what about speedo? does that plug into the new ecu or does it come from the donor car?

i like turbo but i think i like the idea of a screaming N/A motor better

i think if i was going to go turbo, i would just buy a turbocharged car

Lanos as a sleeper with a turbocharger is the twice surprising as the normal sleeper would be... Priceless...

You could use opel kaddet-E gsi/2.0 engine mount, or astra-mk2 2.0 engine mount...

You need engine, sensors, wiring loom, ECU, flywheel, both manifolds, alternator, starter, and clutch set from the donor car...

There is no N/A replacement for turbocharged engine...

I had in my lanos:
1. C20XE + D16 gearbox
2. C20XE + D16 + wizard of NOS (70HP) shot
3. C20XE ported and polished head (170+HP) + D16 + wNOS (80HP shot).
---- And now the games began ----
4. C20LET (2.0 16v Turbo 204HP) + F28 (6speed)
5. C20LET chiped + F28
6. C20LET standalone (250+HP) + F28
7. C20LET standalone forged + T3 (350HP) + F28, not finnished for now...

So, as you can see I have tryed it all in Lanos Sport... Great car, whitstand all of those tortures, with stock drive shafts and suspension system... Fucking Fun Car!!! FFC!!! The only thing I hate about the car is FF alignment (Front wheel drive)... :tfrag:

haha yeah... so do i :D :D

but i also liked how no one had my old ones, they were quite unique... but that could be due to the fact they were very poorly made hahaha

Rear end is fine, but front end MUST be lowered inch or so... So buy a eibach prokit and it would lower front about 1.2inch and rear slightly and it would be great...

KYB excell g will make you car run smoothly in the bush... Trust me.. ;)
