thanks for the comments.
the tail lights are painted on. its sux though because right after i did that is when i saw how to make it all clear so i was kinda mad.
i was lucky with the spoiler b/c when i called to order it, it was the last one they had in stock at teamsr. plus since they were just trying to get rid of it i only paid $300 instead of $400. but the only problem is having the damn thing stay on b/c its not even on my car right now. it been put on like four times and everytime it fell off. i'm just gonna have it urethaned on the glass so it stays forever.

as for the old rims i sold them to a guy with a lancer and bought the new ones with the money. they were 17x7.5 and they just rubbed way too much. my new ones are 17x7 and they still rub a bit but not as much.
the body kit is the heater front bumper, SSV sideskirts, and HVE/DVE rear bumper and spoiler. i bought the kit from teamsr when they were still sharkracing.

well i've written a lot now so i'll let ya'll go.

Hey Nick,

Welcome to the forums finally. I've seen your car up on cardomain for quite some time. I was going to ask what was going on with your spoiler, last I heard it fell off on the way to a show and someone picked it up and dropped it off at the shop where you got the work done. Is that about how it went?

yeah thats about how it went. when i got the dent out from when one of my friends hit me they put it back on but it fell right back off. i'm probably gonna have it urethaned on so it stays for good this time. both times they tried double sided tape that didn't work too well, obviously. i'm getting the axle fixed this wednesday so i can get my rims back on the rear.

excellent. Good to see that you'll be up and showing again soon.

As for me, I got my car done and on the road for about 2 weeks until the engine popped. So my car will be down until late spring/ early summer.

well my car will be paid for by next march so after that and my credit card being paid off or at least $2000 of it i'll probably buy me another 2001 lanos hatch if i can find one for like $2000 at the most. then i'll just use that as a daily commuter then have the other one for show. plus then i'll be able to turn it in for bigger and better stuff and not worry about not having a car for a while. if i don't get a daewoo then it'll just be a little beater from one of these used car places here. rather have a daewoo though so i can have parts if needed or a test vehicle.

I don't know anything about ground effect kit installs but why don't you just have professional holes cut into the hatch backs glass and use bolts and rubber gromets ?? to hold your wing down

That's how it goes when you're in this scene. Murphy's Law runs rampant.
