Underdrive Pulley Group buy - C20E/GET/SED

Post by GsiTurbo »

Hi All!

I am setting up a small production line for the C20GET/C20SED underdrive pulley. This is for cars using a single serpentine belt setup, in case of the C20GET/C20E this would mean no A/C.

The pulleys are made on a CNC using the aircraft quality 6061-T6 aluminum. Each underdrive pulley is carefully design with .001" tolerance.

While the factory pulley weights 2.2kg, the new unit is only about 200 grams.

Image

The pulley provides 30% underdrive, while still producing 12.7V on on the idle. As a result, for the vehicles equipped with the power steering, the car may almost seem as a go-kart in terms of the wheels precision.

This second roll will have even less weight than the original one.

I am suspecting the price in between CDN $155-170 + shipping via UPS or Fedex.

Payment will be accepted by the Money Order or Certified Cheque. Personal Cheques accepted with a 5 day clear time.

Please post your name, or PM to confirm.

**EDIT: I need interested people to contact me by March 1st**

Is it possible to get it for the UK engine (c20ne). I will use some parts from that engine to make the turbo engine easyer to fit into my car (and i dont need power steering and AC). So i will use the uk belt. Like a triangle shape, I think you know what i mean.

Count me in, you know I'm good for it.

It'll force me to go forward with the engine swap ;)

I'm very tempted to buy one for myself....

I have a lathe so I can make myself one for next to nothing but I allways seem to have problems with getting things like this perfectly balanced :? (can't seem to drill the mount holes perfect)

Where are these being made out of?

Just curious about shipping.... although if they are in Mississauga it still wouldn't be that much to get it to me.

either way they're light as hell. I would assume that we're dealing with ASP again (same as the other post about the 1.6L Lanos underdrive pully which never fabricated)

As an update, from the looks of it, there is enough interest that this is given a go. I will have the exact pricing on the pulley some time on Tuesday the 24th.

Shorter belt can be purchased from your local Part Source or Canadian Tire - I will post the part number.

The pulleys will be made out of 6061-T6 aluminum billet.

As far as the 1.6 pulley goes, if someone is willing to send me a sample, I can see what can be done.

Ok, I have some good news for all of those that are interested in the pulleys. The deal has been finalized and the product will be ready in the 2-3 weeks time.

Final price for the pulley is $150 CDN = roughly $112 USD + shipping via Fedex, UPS or Purolator.

I need interested people to PM me for the payment details. Payment will be accepted by the Money Order or Certified Cheque. Personal Cheques accepted with a 5 day clear time.

I need all responses by March 10th.

As I am waiting for the deliver of the pulleys, I am closing this post. A new one will be created once the pulleys are ready for shipment.
