Which part is the down pipe?
I'm not sure which that is; I've probably heard it called by another name.

A downpipe is usually associated with a turbocharger. Did you mean the exhaust manifold??

no, every car has a downpipe (also called the Front pipe).
Basically it's the pipe that connects after the aux cat and runs back to the main cat. It should have an O2 bung and flex pipe in it as well.
