Bosch Injectors upgrade?

Post by Turtle_Wax »

Thanks to MMamdouh for posting the Bosch injector part No (0280150715) that replaces the Lanos stock injectors.
I have found a local supplier who has a set of those injectors. The flow rate is correct at around 155cc/min @ 3bar but looking at the specifications I notice that the resistance of the Bosch injectors is around 15.9 Ohms but the resistance of the Woo injectors is between 11.6 to 12.4 Ohms. Before I buy these I just wanted to know if the higher Ohm resistance of the Bosch injectors will make any difference or cause any probs? Cheers.

My Bosch injectors arrived today. I got them from this site (second item down that now says sold). I paid 51 uk pounds which is a very good price and they are fully serviced and ultrasonic cleaned including new seals & pintle caps.

Fitted them this morning and I am amazed at the difference compared to the stock GM injectors. As soon as I drove off I could tell straight away there was a lot more responsive power as soon as I touched the throttle. I am very pleased with the results and a big thanks to MMamdouh for posting the Bosch injector part #. Those injectors are also fitted to the BMW 1.8 E30 engine and I think a few other variants as well.
