Does anyone have an ecu pinout diagram for my leganza?, more specifically the cam position sensor location. Any help would be appreciated!, thanks.

if you look at the top of the engine, cam sensor is to the far left hand side in the centre and can be seen going in to the spark plug valley... there are two sets of wires that run over the top of the engine, just follow the one that stops on top of the engine and you will find the cam sensor

Actually I should say where should I track down the voltage supply line to the sensor as I am not getting any power to the sensor.

You should find power and ground to the cam sensor at C103 (pin D3 ground and pin F9 12v) under the engine fuse box.

There's an inline fuse underneath the fuse box, is it suppose to be a 15 amp fuse is what I'm seeing from the diagram?.. there was a 5amp fuse that was blown there.

F13 15Amp is normally located in habitacle. Did you find it in engine bay?

There was a recall for Nubira about melted camshaft sensor. Check current drain from yours but 5Amp seems low.

Yes, it seems that the recall was performed on my car, the fuse is located underneath the fuse box in line with the voltage supply line before it reached the fuse box. I wonder if I should switch back to a 5amp. Thanks for the help, i'm glad I got this issue solved.

F13 15A protect also ECM, Ignition relay1, vehicle speed sensor, fuel pump relay.

On this Bosch site http://apps.bosch.com.au/motorsport/pro ... efault.htm you can find that a Hall effect sensor drains very little current. About 0.010A.
So probably the 5A fitted fuse was just fine.
