cable catches?

Post by jd daewoo »

Anyone know where I can get the a/c and heater control cables and vent control cables. The plastic catches have broken. The design of these are poor. I'd like to modify them in a more efficient way. Any ideas?

Plastic catches only break if you put pressure on the wrong way, I've removed/installed control cables dozens of times, only broke a catch because I was inexperienced and tried to force it off.

Unfortunately there is no reasonable alternative, you can zip tie the cable but it will eventually move, you can epoxy it but you will never get it off again.

Good luck, you might be best simply pulling good ones from a scrap yard
