2000 Leganza CDX

Post by herromc »

I have a problem with my oil circulation, and was wondering if anyone can help. During warmer months I can drive my car for about two or three miles, and then my oil light comes on and the lifters start clicking. During colder months (winter) the oil light comes on after driving only a half mile. I am hoping that it's not the oil pump, so I want to change the pickup screen first. My question is, can the pickup pipe w/screen be removed by only removing the oil pan, or do I have to remove part of the front engine to expose the oil pump? Please help me!!!

Just remove the pan to get to it.
How long have you been driving it like this for? Check your cams for wear...
