High pressure

I just installed new injectors and alternator and cleaned the throttle and intake and went to start my car.

At idle the oil pressure gauge was reading over 10 bar (over 143 psi)! It's never read that high even when cold and not driven for a couple of days (like it is now) the highest I've seen was 6 bar.

I really don't want to blow out any seals...

Any ideas? The gauge was working last week so I doubt it's the sender.
I'm scared to run it till it's hot in case it's something else

i just had another look at the sender, one of the wires had severed... fml

lucky it wasn't anything major...
