2000 Lanos windshield wiper arm(s).

Well... my driver's side wiper arm broke (the rivet that held it in place came loose where the spring joint is). So... I either have to rig this one up or I need someone to sell me one or a pair of them (if they're in nicer shape than the ones I have). If anyone has one for sale who can provide quic...

Woo driving the best since I bought it

Recently my Woo started bogging out and driving horribly. So I tried a bunch of things and eventually figured out that my Catalytic Converter was bad... real bad. While the guy was at it cutting the old CAT out, he also took the resonator out as well. Then he welded in the pipe with the new CAT and ...

Yeah... it's almost 8 years old at this point (amazing how much time flies). Here's what I've been able to come up with: Prolonged overheating or short term severe overheating are the leading causes of catalytic converter plugging. The underlying cause here is often fouled or misfiring spark plugs, ...

Fixed! The Catalytic converter was all kinds of full of crap. They replaced it with a new CAT and removed the resonator for me as well in the process (just running pipe where the resonator was). More power than I was used to before and it's running like a champ now. :D Just thought I would toss out ...

Pedal on the clutch feels fine. Shifts okay. Only other thing I can think of clutch wise that could be an issue around the clutch is that if I have it pressed in and hold it when I start it up... it will idle a little high, but if I drop it into neutral and let the clutch out, it drops the idle down...

Took the throttle position sensor out... It was a LITTLE dirty, but not bad at all... I cleaned it and put it back in. Checked again for any kind of vacuum leak and couldn't find anything there either. I cleaned out what little bit of oil residue there was inside the throttle body, and found no prob...

Well... Got the exhaust fixed today. Didn't do a damn bit of good. Problem still exists. So I guess that breaking and my car running like absolute crap is not related. I'll be checking the TPS and all that tomorrow.

I'm not very happy though... at all.

I checked for vacuum leaks a few minutes ago (best I could anyway). There wasn't anything that was obviously cracked/sucking air at all. That split down by the flex pipe is bad. I'm going to have to come up with a temporary fix for that until I can get it fixed for real. I'm going to try muffler/exh...

I'm unsure about mileage loss... I don't think we're getting poor mileage, but I'm uncertain. I don't smell any gas around the injectors or anything so at least I know it isn't leaking outside of the injectors. I'll be able to go outside and check for vacuum leaks tomorrow (using incense) and check ...

Even if most of the exhaust seems to be coming out of the flex pipe? The back pressure change wouldn't be enough to cause it to want to bog out/stutter etc... ?

You should jump online to help me figure this out.

I went around on the web to try and find that part... I only found one place on ebay that sells that setup... for $298 but it comes with a new Catalytic Converter too... which I would prefer not to replace unless I have to.

Just went out to see if I could spot anything obvious (first chance in daylight since the problem started that I had a chance to check it over)... I noticed that there was an awful lot of exhaust coming out of this position: http://www.johnnygfx.com/images/daewootech/Exhaust-Problem.jpg I also noted...

Only bogs out when applying the gas... at idle it's perfect. When I'm rolling along with barely any gas being pressed, it runs smoother, but on the way up to that point it's all herky jerky. In fact, going up hill it was jerking pretty dang hard. It seems to run alright for the first minute or so, b...

Replaced the spark plugs... Problem didn't go away. I figured it was a cheap try so I just replaced them. It's been getting progressively worse over the last few days. Still no CEL at all.... Low end kinda bogs out... then at about 2.5k RPM it doesn't seem to put putting much power to the wheel. Idl...
