your not gonn have very much back pressure, and your low end torque will suffer if you cut all of that out.

pipe is pipe. get a intake on ebay and save ALOT of money. i got my intake that i have on my lanos for $40 shipped, and ive had it for 4-5 years, aluminum pipe,silicone couplers. never had a problem with it. ive always though that the really expencive intakes are a waist of money. but to each his own

lemans isnt the most common car on this forum, but since it is a daewoo your in the right place. the lanos is based on the lemans, so no worries. ive had the same problem.

are you sure its not a cracked exhaust manifold? i know that when my lanos had a crack in the exhaust mani it ticked. its just an idea
