with excess weight may make you reach the rev limiter slower, but not increase max speed, a tach always makes you seem to go faster, cause you can get to the rev limiter without "bouncing off of it" then shifting

my rev limiter maxes forth out at 111mph, and i have ran outta road , but i have had my lanos up to 129!!

If i remeber looking in behind at my alternator, the whole thing has a long bolt you can take out and the same as the adjusting bolt at the top.

I ahve been having the same problem, but the faster i go, the faster the "dimming occurs"

Ok, this sounds like a few things but i would look towards replacing your fuel filter and putting some gas /injector cleaner through it.. even if you have to idle it for to use the tank or so etc.. just try that also make sure there is nothing restricting airflow on the intake, and use some tb intak...

It kinda seems like something to do with alternator.. see if you can get it tested at autozone.

Tis too cold for me to replace with bright white ones lol so its still winking at other cars lol.

Well i know a rebuilt engine from the head gasket and upis 1,500 from dealership... so take ti from there.

I would think a good engine ground would be off of either the bracket on the coil, or off one of the intake manifold bolts, since it would be out of sight. even one of the tranny motor mount bolts..but thats my opinion.

If it wasn't then theres your problem, the starter has to be grounded and positive blah blah.. for it to work.

is the positive hooked to the starter,, make sure its tight or it will ground itself out.
