I also think that the Saturn Astra will definitly get some spotlight, but I doubt that much of it will transfer over to the Aveo.... especially if a redline version with a 2.0L or 2.2L turbo comes out. 1. There won't be a redline for this version... 2010-2012 will be the new release with the alumin...

Just a thought, but there are 2 different valve covers for that engine... one is metal one is plastic. The wight difference is about 1 kilo there. Also, the rods in the Lanos are cast, those in the Aveo are forged. There is about a .25kg difference in each rods with the Lanos being lighter, but weak...

ANyone know which Fidanza Flywheel will fit the 1.6 Ecotec Aveo or Lanos which both have the same flywheel? Is it cobalt SS 2.0 flywheel or other ecotec 2.2 engine flywheel such as cavelier's. Whats the part number of the cobalt (ecotec 2.0) and Cavelier's (ecotec 2.2) flywheel? The Daewoo engines ...

2 and 3 are together on the crank so it must follow standard protocol... though I guess it could be inverted, but for exhaust design (what I'm guessing you're doing) you know all you need to form that
