Re: 2.2L compared to 2.0L

Well, here is a manual http://genisysotc.com/pdfs/526933GMSPSManual.pdf on the very last page it basically states that any GM vehicles after 96' should be programmable. If this applies to GM-DAT, I can't say, but I don't see why not. And here and Engineer speaks about (in super broken English) somet...

Re: 2.2L compared to 2.0L

THERE YOU ARE!! I've been trying to get a hold of you about an under-drive pulley and strut bar.

but to stay on topic

There must be something proprietary about it.
I do know that there IS a factual way to re-flash, the issue: apparently it's written in Korean.

Re: Holden Viva/ lacetti ticking sound coming below intake m

Little off topic but..

That is one clean ass engine bay dude, and I'm actually shocked at how updated it looks in there w/ that cover..

It's definitely a Forenza Wagon for sure, but if I showed you what mine looked like I can bet you'd be just as shocked as I am lol.
Wishing I had a Holden..

Ok now I see. Rather interesting as well, since I just switched my course load to electro-mechanical engineering from pure electrical... This noise is far too loud to be something emitted from an electrical pulse. A local mechanic whom is also the only person I allow to do work on my car other than ...

Re: Foernza, Lacetti, Reno Product Development

Was any work ever done on strut braces?

I've read a few post about them...
Haven't seen any type of confirmation though..

And I know I'm reviving some old posts but, ID like to get my project started. I just can't seem to find anyone who can produce what I'm looking for..

Re: Suzuki Forenza- Hydraulic Tappets- U20SED little help pl

I see. I must have mis-typed that lol.. Still though.. I wasn't aware that injectors could tick..? If you would be so kind, would you mind elaborating on that? From my current knowledge of this system, I have 4 injectors that fit into a "fuel rail" that is just above the intake manifold. Since the r...

Re:

The new Optra 2.0L has less power because it is a U20SED which means that it complies with ULEV emissions. The more powerfull Nubira 2.0L was a T20SED so it only had to comply with TLEV emissions. ULEV is way harder to meet compared to TLEV Therefore a power reduction was needed by GM. I'm sure it ...

Re: parts request & new product previews

Apologies for the double post. But I forgot to ask if it comes with the belt, and what's the wait on it if it needs to be fabricated? Considering your probably the ONLY place I can get one of these, I'd like to hear back :)

And the U20 is in a Forenza, if that matters.

Thanks in advance.

I'm curious about the pricing for an UD pulley, U20SED to be more specific. Do you have any laying around or...?

Thinking about it has made me curious so I must ask, what would make you think that the fuel injectors could be sticking?

Re: Suzuki Forenza- Hydraulic Tappets- U20SED little help pl

Thank you SO much. I've found that rockauto.com carries the part on two different platforms, and I did it by running a cross ref. on those part numbers. AUTO 7 Part # 6170016 Leganza/Nubira {OEM #90502514} (Way cheaper then the Cadillac version below) ACDELCO Part # HL127 Cadillac CTS {OEM #24419109...

Suzuki Forenza- Hydraulic Tappets- U20SED little help please

Hi all in All, First post here, I've read around and this seems like the place to be if one needs some good fab work or even to increase knowledge about performance tuning daewoo's and whatnot. Awesome. Anyway My question/issue though, is about hydraulic tappets for the 2L. 16V. DOHC U20SED Engine. ...
