Can I post about a Corolla AE9$ 4AFC here?

just once and get away with it, as I figure members here will likely have experience with something like an early 90s Corolla as well as its a GM board, best technicality I can cite is that aE9# Corolla like this was sold as a "Holden Nova" here as well? ---------------------------------------------...

On Leganza/Nubira radiator replacements mail order companies request whether round or square mount type, I think actually Nubira can actually be either, Leganza is usually only one...can anyone confirm that and if so, are they round or square? its inconvenient for me to view the car b4 ordering it a...

Re: Springy radiator/heater hose clamps...tool?

Ive actually got a certain number of old Utilux/tridon gear clamps various sizes in a paint can, whenever I see the things thrown away on junk within reach i always undo them and save them, but even if needing to handle the springy ones , is there no custom tool ever came out to handle them...? they...

Springy radiator/heater hose clamps...tool?

general issue...these springy hose clamps which have now taken over from more elaborate gear-clamps..they are damnable things to handle with pliars or multis, especially the big main radiator hose ones...

is there any specialised tool to handle them better than ordinary pliars..?

Re: 2000 Leganza timing belt issues

on a lot of interference engines its mostly the intake valves which are damaged, while the Ex escape..is the Daewoo DOHC like this?

which is good at least, as an intake valve replace is less labor intensive than an exhaust replace, ie if ur not choosing to do full valve service on undamaged valves..

Re: Timing belt stretched ?

I came across some kind of mechanical survey online on these engines, which said that the majority maybe 70% plus of actual belt failures and resultant valve damage etc, trace to WP failure rather than actual belt failure in its own right. I used a QH belt recently on my job on that one I wrote abou...
