Same situation here when I ordered my Sharkracing front strutbar... It had to come from South-Korea and I paid an extra 15€ to the customs for inspecting my package :-(

Re: Which fuel pump Lanos 1.5 ???

Don't forget to relieve fuel pressure before disconnecting hoses by: remove fuel pump fuse or relay and try to start engine. I don't think that's very important. I removed my FPR also without relieving pressure on the fuel line. It sprays a bit of fuel around and that's it. But thanks for the idea ...

Re: Which fuel pump Lanos 1.5 ???

Oh I see, the little pump sits inside a pump-housing...
Thanks for the picture.

How do I get to the fuel-pump? Do I have to take the gastank out of the car or is the pump accessible without dissasembling the car?

Re: Which fuel pump Lanos 1.5 ???

In case of fuel pump I would change small motor only. I found a cheaper one. http://www.aliexpress.com/fm-store/600204/210002732-302040989/daewoo-lanos-1400cc-8v-t100-1600cc-16v-t100-electric-auto-fuel-injection-pump-free-shipping.html You mean: the smaller cheaper one is a actually part of the oth...

Re: Which fuel pump Lanos 1.5 ???

Are you sure it's a defective fuel pump and not relay? The car still drives ok but sometimes it struggles when you press down the gas pedal. I don't think the relay is bad otherwise it wouldn't drive at all. Seems like when you push the throttle, there is a moment that the Fuel Pressure Regulator s...

Which fuel pump Lanos 1.5 ???

I searched around for a new fuel pump and I always come up with 2 different pumps (one around 100€ and another around 200€). How do I know which pump is suitable without taking apart my whole car? My Lanos is from 2002 and has chassisnr. KLAT F08Y11B674024. The expensive one: http://88.191.108.165/i...

Re: Lanos 1.5 clutch bearing worn?

No kidding? Transmission bearing? That's not good. Gonna cost me too much money to get it fixed. I'm tired of this car, think I'm gonna sell it as soon as possible. Just 100.000km and already a broken gearbox? Also a lot of other annoying symptoms like check engine light misfires and motor that hold...

Re: Lanos 1.5 hesitates when pushing throttle down

well follow it down the line: you installed the RRFPR (did the problem occur as soon as it was installed, or when you fiddled with it a bit?) maybe an incorrect setting put too much fuel into the engine> which in turn might have fouled the spark plugs> or maybe fouled the 02 sensor or have you chec...

Lanos 1.5 clutch bearing worn?

Gearbox is not in any gear. It's in free position.
Then when I start my engine (holding down the clutch pedal) everything sounds fine. But when I release the clutch (clutch grips on gearbox) a nasty rumble is heard. Could this be a worn clutch-bearing??

Re: Stuttery

Seems like the FPR kicks in far too late. Try another FPR. Or check it's not leaking at the vacuum hose.
