Re: life changes

BTW - the one I bought a house with and paid tuition, etc was not the one who I am now divorcing. I was with that girl from 2000 - 2004. -- The one I am divorcing now was my best friend and we had been together since 2009. Things DID work out well, she was my best friend. She does have a job that pa...

Re: life changes

This will be my 2nd divorce caused by the wife cheating. Back in the 1997, while I was serving in the Air Force and away, my wife at the time cheated. She maxed out all the credit cards and ran the phone bill up to almost $1,000, and with e3 pay in the 1990s while also supporting rent, bills, 2 cars...

life changes

Well ... as some of you know, after being with my girlfriend/fiancée for 4 years, I married her on 16 June 2012. I found out this past Friday (5 April 2013) that she has been cheating on me with one of her coworkers. Today I am changing my address with the DMV and post office, temporarily moving bac...

Re: Keyless entry programming

The transmitters have to be programmed, all together, by a repair shop or service center that has the electronic equipment necessary as the whole system has to be programmed, including all keys, at the same time. For example, if you know your Daewoo has keyless entry, but have lost the transmitters ...

Re: quick questions

Welcome! .... Glad you found the forum and we're glad to have you. Yes, I believe there are some coilovers available, but I can't remember off the top of my head. I'm sure some of the other members will be helpful. There are lots of pictures floating around on the site. My recommendation is to read,...

After market cruise control

Not sure if this needed to go in the engine or electronics section since it is sort of both. Anyway .... I have been planning to add cruise control to my Lanos and found this: http://www.thecruisecontrolstore.com/ez-catalog/X380183/0016/lanos9904 Has anyone else added after market cruise control? Th...

Re: Has everyone quit this site?

why did you get the new car if you were going to park it? that sounds like a nice truck but definitely something you don't want to be using to commute a long distance. you will need a tanker and a banker to keep it running! To be honest, I bought the car to build my credit rating so that my wife & ...

Re: Has everyone quit this site?

I have still not replaced all the parts on my Lanos which I bought for it a few months ago; I've just not found the time to do it, but I know I need replace them soon. My new car has almost 10,000 miles on it since I bought it in October. As soon as I get the parts changed on the Lanos, it will once...

Re: The longest Thread ever!!!

A few weeks ago I saw a like-new condition red Lanos Sport up on the lift getting new tires. If I had not been with the wife and her friend on our way somewhere, I'd have stopped and talked to the owner. There are still a few around and it looks like the ones that are left are the ones that are bein...

Glad to see the car is getting it's much deserved work!

Were there any factory yellow Lanos'? I don't think I have seen yellow anywhere but that movie.

Re: Cam timing position sensor replaced, CEL on

The sensor was replaced, but I am going to try a different one.
I can clear active and logged codes and the light will come back on.
Somewhere at my parent's house, I think I have a factory one from a 2001 Lanos, but the problem is actually finding what I did with it.

Re: Cam timing position sensor replaced, CEL on

$26.71 and free shipping for the AC Delco sensor on ebay, listed as for a 2004 Aveo, which I believe will fit the Lanos.
