Re: The longest Thread ever!!!

Yes, the rigid lines. they were the cupro nickel I think, or steel. it was hard to tell by the pieces I had. I blew a hole in one of the rear lines, fixed it, then bleeding them out blew another. Re: The longest Thread ever!!!

Thanks Daniel. I'm still moving along, I think about 156K miles on the 2001 Lanos. Almost time for another timing belt package. Just had some bearings done and had to replace some brake lines in the rear. I guess that's not too bad. the longer she goes the better!

Re: Rear bearing tool needed?

You know i was only kidding with you Daniel. I know you know how to use the search function. I know there is not a bunch of traffic on here now but back when there was more people were just logging in and asking the questions when people had already answered them 10 times. I know you know your stuff...

Re: High Idle

just doing a quick serach I found there were a few discussions on this issue. One person had similar symptoms. One person on that thread said they had an issue with the Throttle Positioning Sensor. someone else said that the sensor itself may not be bad, however one of the wires could be bad. If you...

Re: High Idle

Have you checked all your vacuum lines? Perhaps one of them is leaking and changing the idle. sorry I can't help more but giv...

Re: Aveo motor swap (1.6) into Lanos (1.6)

wow, that's great. sounds like it was a cheap option and evidently it worked. I dont know how many of the guys that chimed in on the original posts are still around. it sounded like Trey was interested. I don't plan on blowing my motor, but if i do it sounds like this may be an option.
