Re: Turns out Daewoos can run on diesel or kerosine, too
yes Rod, I was joking about the warranty thing. I think the one I am driving was out of warranty when she left the lot. I think the company was already bankrupt!

Re: error code 15 ? just replace coolant sensor ?
I'll say! I blew my thermostat housing a few years ago Ithe original plastic one), in the summer. I stopped every few minutes to top off the coolant, thinking I would have to do that to nurse it home. After while I realized the temp never really got more than slightly higher than normal, as long as ...

Re: The longest Thread ever!!!
ya I agree. I am dreading my next timing belt job. I know they are going to rock me. I had not seen a Lanos around for a couple of years until a few weeks ago. I thought I saw one in traffic and finally caught up to them as they turned off a well traveled road. It was the exact same model, year and ...

never say die!!!! we will not surrender! As long as my Woo keeps trucking along, i will be here. My car would not even be on the road without the good people from here. Re: Lanos Catalytic Converters - Which to Replace?
I'm in the states and I am pretty sure I have 2 O2 sensors. I think what he is talking about is the resonator. that is before the muffler but after the catalytic convertor.

Re: engine sounds like it is spluttering??
could be either, or other things, like bad wires, coil, etc. Always go with the easiest things first. The fuel filter is an easy change. when was the last time it was done? Same thing with the plugs and wires, relatively easy and cheap. try those first, and if it fixes it great, if not you can keep ...

Re: Scan Tool
The garage I go to works on everythign and they said they couldnt' do it. i trust these guys. there is no way i am going toa Chevy dealer to get gouged, and then have it come back on. i suspect there is a wiring issue rather than the air bag but there is no way I am going to try and work on that. th...

Is there a possibility it will work (the airbag) even if that light is on? There are no longer Daewoo dealer in the states. I doube even the Ch...
