Re: Ultra Racing Install

yea, that and 5/6point seat belts should be standard in every car, but as it costs more and car is still fine without it, dealers dont make them manditory :(

Re: Lanos- Suspension/Steering Problem

i um.. "hopped" a curb once in my woo and the passenger tie rod got bent too. since im cheap, i pulled it off, one bolt on the rack and the one bolt on the end, under neath, (that one's a bit tricky as it like to spin, so i used vise grips to try and squeeze it) then i stuck it in a vise, and hammer...

Re: how to dohc

Re: Lanos High Idle

hopefully when u say u "checked" for leaks it wasn't just a visual? x.x i would then also suggest the TPS and/or the idle-ing screw if its cable operated. may never know who touch's things under the hood. next would to be check EGR and/or clean it. just incase it's stuck open and the ECU doesn't wan...

Re: Check Engine light and codes

if you have the time or resource you can "overhaul" the intake manifold and/or the EGR pipe. and/or the EGR itself.
just order intake manifold gasket set off ebay for ur engine and its easy as cake. thus you can then take it apart and make sure there's no soot :)

Re: Water pump / timing belt tension tool

if you're replacing the pump or the O-ring, yes the rear timing cover will have to come off, but if it's just to release tension of the belt, the rear cover doesn't have to come off. also if all else fail and the tool doesn't fit, use a grinder. 8) i've just been making ends meet using alans to lose...

hmmm a 1.8L? never heard of that for a lanos. @.@
but im with MM on this one. just basically cooked the engine and so it would probably just be easier to replace it then repair it, unless YOU want to take it apart. XD

Re: Warm Engine Misfires/stutters

first off, have you replaced the cam sensor? there is a known problem/recall on a few.
another thread, someone tried getting theirs replaced for free under the recall, but daewoo said no, b.c the numbers didnt match, he bought a new one, fixed the problem. my very firsttttt suggestion.
