Re: rodd1s' Lanos [updates on first post]

And Jeff those figures are in kW, converting 55kW to bhp is around 74/75, like rodd said.

Re: Car salesman rant.

Lol he sounds like a right wab. The hatches don't look anywhere near as good as the saloons in my honest opinion. I'd love a saloon. But then again, PrecisionBoost's hatchback was so nice looking and had very minimal mods when i saw it, lowered, rims, nice low prfile tyres, and it looked the dogs da...

Re: Lemans hood compatibility

You'd need to change the headlights and possiblew indicators/blinkers, and if you have to change those you'd hafta change the wings. Judging by the pic although still a mk2 astra shell, it looks more similar to the way the mk3 astra is set up in terms of the front bumper, with the grill seperate. Yo...

Not a tough job at all, half hour to an hour at the most. Jack both sides of the rear up like you've done with that one side. Remove both wheels, and undo the handbrake cables. Then just get someone to hold the beam as you undo the 2 shock top bolts. Lots of jacks come in handy as you could probably...

Where're you from?

There's several engines you could put in it. Any Daewoo 1.8-2.2 will fit in fairly hassle free. There're also engines from opels/vauxhalls that'll fit in too.

Imho, they're crap. Never have I met a place i can't get at with a socket or spanner by moving or removing other things. Even if it does take longer it gets done properly. Those things are fiddley, annoying, and dont do as they say they do as easily as they say they do. Would never touch them. They'...
