TD04 was very good - I had boost coming in around 2800 with a full 6psi by 3200.

Very fun to drive on a standard engine but a bit breathless in higher revs.

Re: Bunch of random lanos questions

1) How the hell do you get all the side markers off? Thanks! You need to apply pressure/push them in (as if you were trying to push it into the engine bay) and then while holding that pressure, slide it towards the rear end of the car, and then they'll pop out/pivot on that back edge. Once you get ...

Hi guys, Im still lurking these pages. http://www.daewootech.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=2755 The TD04 mounted nicely under the stock manifold with an adaptor. Even kept the A/C. The oil return only ran the tiniest bit uphill, but i never had a problem with it. I'd go for the T25. You'll feel the T2 w...

When we were getting the engine rebuilt we had the same idea.

Had the block all measured out but there wasnt going to be enough meat left between the cylinder walls after the boring.

Re: Lock Nuts/Lug Bolts

Hey Guys As some of you know i got my new wheels on 2 weeks back, was wondering if anybody has come across same issue as me as in to chasing down a set of locking lug bolts for the daewoo Lanos. Because they use the opposite fitment compared to other cars i have had trouble finding some. If people ...

... I think your best bet is to go custom. +1. Custom is the only choice for the 1.5L. Nothing is available off the shelf because call for parts is very limited. You'll find the prices are not-at-all unreasonable, especially if you're already looking to beef up internals. I think $500-$600 gets you...

Thats what i was wondering. is it worth it???? A front one is totally worth it! I found it just holds the chassis tighter thru corners (so the car doesnt lunge as much from side to side thru roundabouts etc - it holds flatter, is more predictable and precise) and it does eliminate some wheel hop. I...

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v647/IDW00U/Front.jpg Why mess with perfection? 8) But if you must try... Sheet aluminium might be an idea. Make sure it has holes in it or you cut out a design in it to let airflow thru though to the radiator. This may look a bit like a cheese grater though. --Tim
